It's a good idea to freshen things up every few years, and the STREET CHOPPER website is no exception. We plan to completely redesign the website to better serve your needs, but where do we start? I sat down with the STREET CHOPPER staff to figure out how to get you more involved with the magazine, and the overwhelming answer was an updated website that is more interactive and informative. But we all agreed that before we made any changes, we'd consult the people who already read the magazine and get their input so we don't screw it up. To start, we've got five questions for you that should only take a minute to answer:
What extended coverage of existing articles would you like to see on the website?Extended coverage of Features
Extended coverage of Tech Articles
Extended coverage of Events
All of the above
Many readers are interested in old articles from past issues. What would best suit your needs?Past Bike Features
Past Tech Articles
Past "Busted Knuckles" Articles
Past new parts from "Parts Counter"
All of the above
There are certain things we can do on the website that we are unable to do in the magazine, such as pre-recorded live video. What would you like to see short video clips of?Builder interviews
Burnouts and wheelies
Video from big events such as Sturgis or Biketoberfest
All of the above
What kind of information would you like about the motorcycle industry?Event listings for the current and next year
STREET CHOPPER-related TV dates and times (such as History of the Chopper or Build-Off shows)
Builder and parts manufacturer website addresses and links
All of the above
We want you to visit the website once it is redesigned. If you could win a motorcycle part just for visiting the site and answering a few more questions, what would you want to win?Exhaust pipes
Carburetor
Handlebars
Tools
Spoke wheels
Headlight
Gas tank
All you have to do now is mail us the answers to these questions, either electronically at streetchopper@primedia.com, or by sending regular mail to STREET CHOPPER Ignition Survey, 2570 E. Cerritos Ave., Anaheim CA 92806. In a month or two we'll post your answers and let you know exactly how we're going to improve the STREET CHOPPER website.
