As you may know, we have had some changes around here, everything from a new building to a few new staff members...to a few less staff members.
First things first: A quick update on Courtney. He's up and about (still walking like a guy who's had too much to drink) but he's doing better and feeling better just not all the way back in the game. If he keeps up the fight and all the Docs give him the OK, he will be back in the office chained to a desk, cranking out all the good stuff you want. Until then you are stuck with Taryn and myself with the help of Jordan and The Suz. This is the STREET CHOPPER staff working and trying as hard as they can to put this magazine out every month, so if you like what you see, then give them the thanks with a few E-mails or tickets to a Lakers game.
We will continue to bring the same good stuff; however, we still want you to keep sending the cool-ass bikes and letting us know about any new products and tech stories. My desk is covered with things we can't use, like bad photography or no tech-sheets or even worse, a few cool bikes that we would love to feature but with no phone number. The first time that happened it was OK, but we are sitting on about ten nice bikes with no info. They read like this: "Is my bike good for the Mag?" or "Let me know if you could put my bike in the mag," however, there is no info. Something as small as a phone number would make our jobs just a little easier, so think about that the next time you send something out. Make sure there is a way to contact you. I keep talking to guys at shows who say they are going to send us stuff, but my mailbox is not full...and we're still waiting on stuff from back East, you know who you are. Just try to remember that we are a Chopper magazine.
