Myrtle Beach is a cool place to hold a rally. In fact, it's a very cool place to do anything bike or family related. The community is set up to be vacation heaven, so coming down to attend the Carolina Dealer's Association Rally and bringing the whole family with makes sense. You can send the kids out for a day at a water park or go-kart track while you hop on the bike and check out the sights. We saw quite a bit of that very scene playing out all week.
Heading east for Myrtle is always exciting for us because we get to interact with a whole different crowd of people. The chopper world stepped its game up this year, and no matter where you turned - on the street or in a vender booth - stretched machines were out in force. From Broadway at the Beach to the Murrell's Inlet H-D shop, nice people that just want to talk about choppers are everywhere. We made it out to Barefoot Landing, and things were just as exciting out there.
