Custom Chopper Repair Shops Classic Bike Tattoo Show

Head Up North

If you can make it up to Laval, Canada, then keep the weekend of April 21-23 open when planning events you'll be attending this year. You won't want to miss the 7th edition of the Classic Bike & Tattoo Show-bikes and tattooing, you know it's gonna have some scenery. Held at the SportExpo, there will be 150 booths specializing in motorcycle customizing, parts and accessories, and more. Not to mention over 150 bikes to check out and a bike competition with cash and trophies worth up to 10,000 dollars. Not to forget the 50-plus tattoo artists who will be at the event working live (on you if you want), as well as entering live competitions to test their skills. If all that weren't enough, there will be side activities all weekend: a bikini fashion show, wrestling session, live music, and a live bike show onstage. STC Invites You for Some Good Times

This year, the second annual STREET CHOPPER invitational will be during the All American Motorcycle Madness in Santa Maria, California, on May 19-21. Aaron Greene of Paramount Custom Cycles will return to defend his title against challengers Scott Long of Central Coast Cycles, Johnny Chop, Tom Foster, Mitch Bergeron, and other top builders. Three days of bikes, Santa Maria-style bbq, live music, and beautiful riding throughout the Santa Maria valley, we certainly don't think it's a bad way to spend a weekend. Plus, don't miss out on your chance to win the All American Dream bike that will be assembled during the event by master builders Mitch Bergeron and the Count of Counts Kustoms. Custom Chopper Repair Shops Newroc Harley Davidson

NewRoc's New Dealership

A little cold weather didn't keep Harley owners and enthusiasts from a good time-on Thanksgiving weekend no less. The reason for more than 2,000 people braving the cold and venturing out on the traditionally familial holiday was to celebrate the Grand Opening of NewRoc Harley-Davidson & Buell, the first new Harley dealership in the metro NYC area in several years. Those that braved the cold were treated to two live bands, jugglers and stilt walkers, a fire-eater, plenty of free food, and one of the best displays of new Harley motorcycles, clothing and accessories in the New York area. One local rode in his "winterized" '47 H-D knucklehead, complete with original '40s era windshield and leg protectors. The 27,000 square foot dealership is family- owned and -operated by longtime motorcycle enthusiast, Jack Meskunas and his wife, Denise. On Sunday, the NewRoc Harley-Davidson & Buell hosted its first motorcycle show attracting about 35 custom and classic motorcycles ranging from a restored 1910 single-cylinder Harley to '60s choppers, as well as a handful of modified '05 Harley-Davidsons. For more information about the NewRoc Harley-Davidson, go to http://www.nrhd.com or call (914) 632-6743.

Custom Chopper Repair Shops Mgs Custom Bikes

No Longer Incognito

MGS Custom Bikes located in Lancaster, California, has been one of the best-kept secrets in the motorcycle industry. Although, you should recognize MGS from our last issue, the shop is helping STC editor, Ernie Lopez, make his own custom gas tank for our bike build-off. Finally receiving recognition for its one-off bikes, Storm Pipe exhaust systems, and custom sheetmetal shortcuts for builders of all levels, owner Mike Stafford has always thought of bike building as the art of metal. With each new one-off bike, there's a new canvas on which to create. Using that philosophy, he's created a line of sheetmetal products called Liquid Steel including full rolling chassis kits, gas tanks, front fenders, rear fenders and more. To check out MGS Custom Bikes for yourself, go to http://www.mgscustombikes.com or call (661) 951-9878.
