It's never easy to start up a new bike show, but it's usually easy to tell whether or not the show will make it given its location, vendors, and entertainment. The Rose Bowl bike show, put together by Horsepower Promotions, has all the ingredients for a great show. There was live music all weekend, riding stunts every few hours, the Lifestyle Cycles fashion show, an onstage S&S motor swap (in just over two hours! Anthony XXX from Lifestyle even had the bike running within that time), and a bike giveaway from BMC Choppers. There were a number of builders and shops at the show as well, including Super Co., Top Shelf Customs, Performance Machine, Powers Customs, Scott Long and Central Coast Cycles, Back Road Choppers, Wheel Works, Saxon Motorcycle Co., and, last but not least, Gard Hollinger and LA County Choprods.
While the attendance was not as large as it could have been, we think it's easy to assume that the show will be a hit next year. For next year's date, check outwww.horsepowerpromotions.com.
