The 6th Annual David Mann Chopperfest was much more than a dedication to the famous artist. Just weeks before Christmas, this show brings chopper enthusiasts from all over the globe to sunny Ventura, California, to indulge in top-notch bikes and a slew of vendors.
This year rain did threaten the event, but hours before the event the skies cleared and hundreds of bikers rode in to make the scene.
Close to a thousand old and new style choppers were on hand and some recently built bikes were debuted by the likes of Max Schaff, Chica, Old Gold Garage, Ventura Motorworks and others.
We at Street Chopper also took full advantage of the healthy amount of vintage iron being horse-traded in the swap meet section and scored a myriad of needed parts as well as some funky '70s biker memorabilia.
Next year, do yourself a favor and come to SoCal to check out the Chopperfest. Use it as an excuse to thaw out beachside while gawking at some of this country's nicest bobs and chops. SC
