The Custom Inverted Front Fork Kit from Harley-Davidson is manufactured to specifications, featuring 52mm tubes and the latest cartridge damping technology for a comfortable ride. Custom details include hidden axle mounts, a forged aluminum axle holder with integrated mounting points that accept original-equipment fenders and brake calipers without the need for additional brackets. The outer tubes are billet aluminum and the forged aluminum triple-tree is secured with chrome pinch bolts. The smooth contour upper triple triple-tree accepts FXST and FXSTB original-equipment or accessory handlebars.

State-Of-The-Art Suspension
Air Systems Engineering's AirFX FXA-1002 system is a rear air suspension system for use on '85-current Softail models. The system uses air pressure from an onboard compressor to create lift from a twin-piston air cylinder package. Air is also supplied on the opposite side of the triple-sealed pistons complete with stainless steel piston rods providing complete control. The result-a smooth predicable ride quality at any ride height. The FXA-1002 is a lightweight, one-piece, re-buildable, billet aluminum cylinder, given a NiTuff hard coat anodize finish for long lasting durability. Other features include, self-lubricating, composite rod and mounting point bushings and remote micro control buttons supplied with seven feet of cable. The Air Systems Engineering FXA-1002 is pre-wired, factory tested, and comes in black anodize or polished finish.

Unique Styling
If you're looking for a front end that will set your machine apart from the crowd, then you should know that the popular Durfee Girder of the '70s is back and better than ever. Designers of the original have managed to retain the girder's unique styling while enhancing its quality, performance, and reliability through the use of modern technology, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Standard configuration incorporates a brake tab on the left side for use with Durfee's optional, 4-piston caliper, 11-1/2-inch disc, PM brake kit. This tab can be eliminated or a second can be added to the right side on special order. Mounting hardware compatible with stock H-D calipers is also being made available. Each girder is machined to accept a standard 3/4-inch axle and traditional-style lighting. It is available in lengths from stock to 18 inches over and finished in chrome or your choice of powdercoat.

Spyke's 63mm inverted front ends feature speed-sensitive damping and progressive rate springs for an uncompromised ride handling over a variety of surfaces. The fork has chrome-plated triple clamps machined from T6 billet aluminum, a chrome 63.5mm diameter upper tube and a hard chrome 45mm diameter slider tube. The redesigned trees can be purchased separately or as a complete assembly with Perse Performance lower legs, H-D and Progressive Suspension tubes and internals. Trees will accept any manufacturers 41mm fork tubes and lower legs allowing you the flexibility to use your existing set up by just replacing the trees and fork caps. Avoid Speed Wobble
Eurocomponents' billet wide glide raked triple-trees fit all softail models with 41mm fork tubes and all Sportster models as well as Dyna models with 39mm fork tubes. The 41mm version comes with 6 degrees of built-in rake while the 39mm version comes with 4 degrees of built-in rake. For the 39mm version, a full conversion kit with wheel axle, disc spacer, fender spacers and all necessary hardware are sold separately.
