Valentine's Day sucks.paraphrase Terrence Howard: It's hard out here for a gearhead. With many of us stuck indoors for the winter, jamming to finish that killer scoot by Daytona Bike Week (or just the beginning of your local riding season). February 14th is a hell of a time to have to drop everything and go looking for something for that special lady (or whatever you refer to her as). Street Chopper is here to help. We've brought together some stuff we found at the local Harley store, and from some of our favorite companies, that just might save you a little time hunting down that little something that will keep you in marital (or sinful) bliss. If you are currently unattached, maybe we'll help you get hooked up...or at least you've got Luna and Senora to keep you occupied. Special thanks to Powerplant Choppers, who graciously lent us their shop to shoot in all day.

 Chain Heart

Do it Yourself!
If you really can't tear yourself away from the garage, or you're just too damn broke from buying that trick sixspeed for your latest creation, you can make good for your lady from the comfort of your own bench. Follow our easy-tofollow instructions, using easyto- find materials, and you just may extract yourself from the doghouse this V-Day season.

 Sheetmetal
Out in the garage we found some scrap sheetmetal, part of a keychain, and a used drivechain. We got out a pencil and sketched out a rough heart on the sheetmetal.
 Trace Cut
An old wheel spacer was the perfect choice to trace the round part of the heart before cutting out the shape with tin snips.
 Bastard File
After the cutting, a bastard file and rotary sander were used to clean up the sharp edges. A hole was drilled to hold the charm to the chain.
 Cutting Chain
The hardest part of the job was cutting the chain to length. After grinding off a rivet, a chain tool was used to press out the pin. After assembling the parts, wrap it in tissue paper and present it to your favorite honey.

Miles of Smiles
Vibe-rider is a small, hidden electronic unit that's installed inside the passenger seat of your scoot. Turn it on, kick her over, and let the vibrations begin. It vibrates in synchrony with your motor or hit the Turbo button for maximum stimulation.A small, well-made, weatherresistant control box can be mounted anywhere on your bike. Vibe-Rider works on all motorcycles and seats.
