Usually, this section is mostly filled from the many snail mail submissions we find in our office mailbox. Although we did receive many great packages from our loyal readers out there in Chopperville, we decided to do things a little differently this time. We took to the web as we scouted for the baddest bobbers and choppers our readers had to offer. Once our MySpace page (www.myspace.com/streetchoppermag) was set up, our casting call for new talent was sent out to all who were kind enough to befriend our humble page. Most who sent in their information were excited at the mere idea of their bike being considered for print, while a small percentage of folks sent in pleas and offered bribes in exchange for a spot under the limelight. Believe it or not, we proudly declined every monetary morsel that was thrown in front of us. We must have some religion over here in our modest, middle-class office-check us out!
Congratulations are in order for those who are featured in this, a very special issue for both our staff and dedicated readers alike. Drumroll, please...
By Any Means Necessary
Customizing a beauty such as this '70 Triumph TR6C is by no means a simple task. Finding the right parts that pay due homage to the original spirit of the Brit bike required a bit more effort than just perusing the internet, and Joe Zito, who hails from Gloucester, NJ, would certainly agree. Although the net is a great place to find an occasional part or two, Joe found the majority of his parts the old-fashioned way-investigative research. Joe left no stone unturned and tracked down every elusive part, which lead him to the doorsteps of friends, local shops, hot rod shows, and his very own pantry. Yeah, believe it or not, the bottom half of a can of beans serves as the bulb holder/reflector for the brake light, which itself is comprised of a '60s Schwinn headlight housing fitted with a '37 Ford bezel and lens. Sound like Joe utilizes a bit of Sherlock Holmes and MacGyver skills when tackling an important build.

Sucker Punch Knockout
John Morano, a Franklinville, NJ, native, decided it was about time that he had a clock-cleaning, jaw-jacking ride in his corner. As far as John was concerned, Sucker Punch Sallys was the only game in town, as all of their bikes boast flawless K.O. records. John showed no hesitation as he jumped in his truck and headed to the Ohio SPS shop in hopes he would return with a balls-out brawler in tow.
The deal was sealed, and John finally had a promising, up-and-coming contender in his garage. With a few minor upgrades and some additional pinstriped war paint added to the bike's arsenal, this show circuit rookie quickly ascended to its current champ status.
