23. ...then after installing the motor shaft spline to the front pulley, I needed to install both front and rear pulleys at the same time as the belt.

24. Next, the mainshaft nut was installed and torqued to spec.

25. The transmission mainshaft nut was next. A few drops of threadlocker were used, but I will need to take this all apart for paint, so I just tightened the bolt for the moment. After I bolted the starter cover to the motor plate to see how it looked, I still needed to install the starter-but we'll save that for later.

26. The last thing to bolt on was the cover. First I placed the black cover on the bike. I like its looks, but I haven't painted the bike yet, so I'm not sure if black will work with the red paint I have planned.

27. The polished cover looked just as good.

28. Here's one last look at the new SS-2 beltdrive from the top. You can see how thin it is. I can't wait to try this out. I will say that when I was at BDL I got to test one of these out on a stock bike, and it ran like a dream.
