 Next, all the pieces for the...  Next, all the pieces for the bars were cut and ready to weld. The handlebars, risers, and mounting bolt slug were threaded for 3/4-inch bolts.  Mark started by TIG-welding...  Mark started by TIG-welding bars together to form the V-shape.  Next, he TIG-welded the risers...  Next, he TIG-welded the risers to the V-bar.  Then the mounting slugs bolt...  Then the mounting slugs bolt were welded inside the risers. Since we run the cables through the bolts, Mark used some serious 3/4-inch bolts instead of the standard 1/2-inch.  All welds were meticulously...  All welds were meticulously grounded smooth. This sped up the time for chrome-the smoother the welds, the better-looking the chrome.  The finished bars after chroming....  The finished bars after chroming. This is as good as it gets. After routing the cable through...  After routing the cable through the handlebars, Mark inserted the housing into the back of internal throttle shaft.  Next, he inserted the throttle...  Next, he inserted the throttle cable into the slide barrel and locked it in place with a setscrew.  Mark attached the internal...  Mark attached the internal throttle to handlebar with setscrew, then installed the twist sleeve with end cap.  He then slid the hand grip...  He then slid the hand grip over twist sleeve and tightened the setscrew.
