An Hour With Roland And His Personal Softail
Roland has a knack for making time fly. We showed up about two hours before sunset to shoot some stuff around the shop, Jason's brown-n-tan bike, and whatever other mischief was being created over at RSD. As we walked through the shop with Roland it became obvious that he wasn't content being locked inside. Then he opened the door with a comment about how the RSD Vintage kit was designed not only to make any Softail look really cool, but it was designed to perform as well.
So, like anybody with a camera and access to Roland Sands and a couple of motorcycles, Ernie challenged him to prove it. Everything was going pretty normally with Roland doing some high-speed cornering and being a general hooligan, and then he saw the grass. Well, Ernie isn't the kind of guy to stand between a man and his love for a lawn job, so he told Roland to go for it. Needless to say, we had a blast watching Roland flat-track his bike through the grass until the sun was nearly down and the cops showed up...
Roland proved his point, and we got a bunch of really cool photos out of the deal. Everybody's happy!
